an eye for an eye and your other eye and the rest of your family: a duke dasher novel
Independent, 2020
An Eye for an Eye and Your Other Eye and the Rest of Your Family is a brutal commentary on today's America masked as a New York Times Best-Selling beach read.
On the surface it inherits the same shoddy facade as the other millions of vaguely religious, psychological, crime/mystery thrillers, but underneath lies an absurdist satire which explores humanity's descent into madness through blind consumption of content.
Will one man's quest to save the country he loves from an alcoholic Russian spy and his genetically modified clone army redeem us all or plunge mankind further into a neglected rest stop toilet? Prepare yourself for a truly disturbing glimpse into the malnourished bowels of humanity and the worst it has to offer.

powerpoint eulogy
“One of the most deeply awful stories I’ve ever read, in the absolute best way possible: enjoyable to read, funny, brilliantly written, and yet terrifyingly relatable and miserable.”
Three corporate hours have been allotted to commemorate the life of enigma, Bill Motluck. Employee memories of his life are crudely recounted onto a dusty projector. No one has ever been quite sure of his purpose. No one is quite sure who wrote the PowerPoint...but it seems to be exposing them all, one by one.
until no crevice remained
Orbis Teritus, 2021
A genre scorching mixed media collection that documents humanity's painful but willing descent into characterless orbs incapable of emotion or thought. A psychotic narrative unfolds through glimpses into windows of neighboring houses in a characterless subdivision and their residents as beautiful warts and scars are smoothed over in favour of perceived normalcy.
Xanax rivers. Luxury coats crafted from human remains. Carnal activity in wax museums. Popular culture figures dying of dementia. Salvation through consumption.
Bear witness to the carving that will eventually render complete, unencumbered stagnation.
sparsley attended funerals
Close to the Bone Publishing, 2022
Sparsely Attended Funerals is a collection of stories that are reverently told by folks nibbling on an acid-laced fruit platter in a neglected funeral home before services begin for someone they never knew. They whisper tales to one another to pass time while a faceless priest sips embalming fluid and practices lowering corpses into the earth.
Tales that exist in a dreamlike black hole adjacent to our own world, ready to consume or tarnish any last morsels of sanity. Stories told when there is nothing left to say.
Impermanence. Contrived legacies. Quitting.
An election decided by glory holes. A severed head as a savior. A mall candle that oozes carnal desires. Our descent into an agreeable madness is inevitable.
very! shitty! job!
Orbis Tertius, 2023
'very! shitty! job!' is a series of peculiar classified ads found in a discarded newspaper in Northern Indiana.
Though it sits in a pile of neglected filth, the ink in the crevices of its tainted pages propels desperate residents into a series of humiliating jobs and wanted ads. Not every job is an employment opportunity; some are the request and fulfillment of an insufferable obligation, others are the resurrection of a dying dream.
'very! shitty! job!' dictates their wants and desires and determines their legacy.
